PAXSON HELGESEN

My name is Paxson - and I am a storyteller. I’m a voice actor, motion capture performer, improviser, musician, audio engineer, and sound designer for AAA video games. I’m based out of both Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA and love to travel.

My voice is versatile and suited to many different archetypes of heroes and villains. I enjoy exploring the different aspects of character accents, voice prints, and psychology.

Voice acting started for me as a game developer, where I often found myself in the booth recording creature vocalizations and combat efforts for characters when I realized how much I enjoyed bringing characters to life. This led to falling in love with improv through Upright Citizens Brigade, and an acting journey I have never looked back on.

I love collaborating with others to help bring new stories to life - so let’s create something great together.

When i’m not in the booth or volume, you’ll find me spending time with my partner and our two dogs (Mercury and Bowie,) in a long-running D&D campaign, or hiking and exploring the outdoors.
